HomeFacilities The Breeding Farms

The 11 Breeding Farms are in isolated locations to enforce bio-security, so that birds do not catch any infection. The 80,000 breeders that are housed here, produce up to 11 million hatching eggs a year.

For the last 12 years, Life Line Feeds has been using the deep-litter system to rear poultry, which enables the birds to produce eggs in natural habitat. The company has also adopted the All-In-All-Out growing system (one farm has only one age group) which helps prevent diseases.

Through automatic feeders, the birds are fed with nutrients based on conventional veterinary and genetic requirements. The nipple drinkers provide the birds with water which is treated by reverse osmosis/ultra filtration. This ensures top quality hatching eggs. These eggs are then carefully collected, cleaned and then transported to the grading station to be sorted according to category.
